The joy and power of the imagination has informed who I am for a long as I can remember. My early experiences of being mesmerized by both filmed and live performances set my feet on a lifelong journey of dedication to emotionally honest and entertaining storytelling.
I was first a dancer, then an actor and now find myself a director. At this time of my career, I enjoy creating environments where artists can do their best work and surprise themselves with their capacity to discover in the moment. I believe willingness to experiment and take risks makes magic.
My current directing projects include a new web series, Nearly Human (currently in post-production), and the PSA "Boys Will Be Better" created and produced with Tess Forestieri and David Siciliano for HOOKmedia.
As an actor, I was fortunate to work with award winning directors Peter Tolan, Andy Ackerman, Jamie Babbit, Jonathan Kaplan, Maggie Kiley and Chay Yew, and to appear in productions in New York and Los Angeles for Atlantic Theater Company, Center Theater Group, Primary Stages, East West Players, and Abingdon Theater Company.
For Atlantic, I was also part of creating and producing New Works, a program that gave emerging playwrights an opportunity to have their work produced in an intimate setting. I am currently on faculty at Atlantic Acting School.
Born in New York, raised in New Jersey, I've had the pleasure of living and working in both Los Angeles and New York City and have drawn much inspiration from both. I love a big city, always have.
